This Human Resources Information Analyst will be in the Company’s HR Services Data Integrity department, and will support HR’s client base and department management in a centralized human resource service center on specific HR programs, products, services, practices and policies and other assigned areas of responsibility requiring analysis and decision making. The successful candidate will analyze, process and respond to requests for a range of employee and organization data changes and life events with a high level of accuracy and efficiency and in alignment with policies and business processes; answers and logs questions and requests and information provided and actions taken; cultivates positive working relationships with key business partners; continues to work on self-growth and development. In addition, maintaining a safety conscious work environment by following Edison safety protocols and safe work practices; and performing other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Providesprofessional consultation and accurate information to all levels of employees,management, officers, and external contacts on Human Resource programs,products, services, practices and policies. Researches, analyzes and resolvescustomer issues.
Develops solutionsand recommendations that are consistent with current laws, policy guidelines,company practice, HR program provisions, regulations and contract provisions.
Handles/processesemployee data and organization changes, employee and life events with a highlevel of accuracy and in compliance with established policies, guidelines,procedures and provisions.
Maintainsawareness of Human Resource programs, products, services, practices andpolicies and exercises good judgement when communicating information to clientsand customers.
·Applies effectivedecision making regarding the processing of employee and position data changesin alignment with established procedures, policies and management direction.
·Ensures correctand consistent data is displayed on org charts, employee job history, and payrecords.
Ensures knowledgeis current and displays information in a clear and concise manner.
Interacts withcustomers via phone calls, voicemails, emails, written correspondence, and faceto face.
Utilizes systemssuch as help desk software, case management, SAP, etc., to track, monitor,analyze, process, and document all aspects of client interactions.
Builds andmaintains positive relationships with business partners including management,key area representatives, and the HR Services team.
Handles sensitiveemployee information in a confidential manner.
Looks for andbrings to management’s attention potential continuous improvement opportunitiesin program(s) and the department’s operations to optimize client satisfactionand efficiency.
Monitor employeemovements and calculate service years and vacation and holiday accruals basedon company policies, rules and labor agreements.
Conduct detailedSAP and Business Warehouse queries and audits to maintain data accuracy,improve reliability and integrity of data, and determine proper application ofbenefit policies and pay practices.
Perform otherduties and responsibilities as assigned.
Must have aminimum of three years of experience in HR Information System (HRIS) SAP HumanCapital Management (HCM) module, customer service systems (e.g., ComputerTelephony Integration (CTI), HP Service Manager or relevant case managementsystems or other Helpdesk Software, etc.).
Experience using metrics reporting and tracking toolsusing MS Excel to track and monitor statistics, trends, and auditing data foraccuracy.
Must haveexperience interacting directly with internal or external customers in acustomer/client services environment analyzing and resolving customer issues.
Must haveexperience in a Human Resources (HR) related discipline, policy and/or programsuch as: Benefits, Payroll,Compensation, Disability, Training, Staffing, Employee Relations, or LaborRelations.
Associate’sDegree in HumanResources, Business or a related field or an equivalent combination ofeducation, training, and experience.
Demonstrated experience tracking, monitoring, analyzing, processing, anddocumenting data/information.
Demonstrated exceptional customer service; working withbusiness partners, managers, payroll staff, recruiters, candidates and variousclients.
Demonstrated experienceidentifying process improvement opportunities and developing and makingrecommendations.
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attentionto detail.
Conducts all matters and communications in a professional,confidential and courteous manner. Confidentiality and trust are twocompetencies of utmost importance.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook andcloud-based collaboration tools.
Demonstrated experiencecommunicating both orally and in a written format to a wide variety ofaudiences.
Demonstrated excellentinterpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate and maintain positiveworking relationships with diverse staff and all levels of management.
Effective resource and project planning, results delivery,team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology andinnovation.
Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols and safework practices.
