Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for an Information Systems Tech (Hardware) Analyst to support computer facility modifications and preparation, computer equipment installations, engineering drawings, equipment auditing, and preparation for program deliveries for our Space Park Engineering Center. This candidate should have senior-level experience in full lifecycle computer system hardware and software implementation. Individual should have experience with requirements development including hardware requirements and be capable of defining, performing, and documenting trade studies. Candidate should understand and be familiar with industry standards for computer hardware including computer servers, software, storage solutions, and networks. Candidate should have the ability to support equipment configurations auditing to ensure proper engineering documentation and configuration management control. Additional responsibilities will include the following:

• Defining, documenting and refining a COTS hardware configuration

• Developing technical solutions to complex problems which require ingenuity and creativity

• Coordinating with all levels of management and implementing decisions that will achieve the project objectives.

• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment with excellent communication and people skills

• Ability to mentor and train staff members

Position is contingent upon final active SCI clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with rack installation and dimensional analysis to ensure fit, form & function of hardware

  • Experience working within a computer room facility

  • Experience with engineering drawing development of delivered systems, and computer equipment configuration management

  • Experience working with vendors and facilities personnel

  • Experience with real-time operational environments

  • Current Cyber Security Certification or ability to obtain Cyber Security Certification (Security or CISSP)

  • Current Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI clearance by start date

  • Bachelors degree within a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with nine (9) or more years of experience; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree
