The NGAS Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test (MAIT) Center of Excellence is responsible for fabricating, assembling, integrating, testing, and delivering complex spacecraft systems. Programs supported by MAIT include the James Webb Space Telescope, Advanced Extremely High-Frequency payloads, and other space systems and products.
Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking an Administrative Functional Support 3 to work in Redondo Beach, California.
The Administrative Functional Support 3 position will support the Engineering Ground Support & Antennas, Test Operations and Offsite departments. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks and activities for these two very dynamic and fast-paced departments. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience gathering, recording, tracking and verifying data and information from multiple sources. This individual will be responsible for compiling and generating reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations using MicrosoftOffice and other tools.
Managing departmental staff calendars
Scheduling and ensuring of conference room and resource availability for meetings
Providing purchasing support for typical office supplies as required
Managing and tracking department media devices such as digital cameras, and other equipment
Processing other requests as required by departmental staff and personnel
As a member of the MAIT organization, the Administrative Functional Support 3 will be required to communicate effectively within and across many organizations and teams by taking initiative and seeking opportunities for process improvement and employee engagement.
High School Diploma/ GED from an accredited institution and 4 years of administrative support experience for management staff and personnel in an aerospace environment
Practical working experience managing multiple calendars, scheduling meetings, and managing resource and conference room availability
Technical experience generating reports using Microsoft Office and other tools
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a Business or STEM field
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Possesses strong leadership qualities, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
Active In-Scope Secret Security Clearance
