Kaiser Permanente IT Administrative Intern - SoCal in Pasadena, California

A Technical Internship is a period of formal, structured practical experience in the practice of health services administration during intervals between or during semester breaks (summer internship).These positions will pay $18.00 per hour.

There are multiple openings available.

Essential Functions:

  • Duties vary by location/department.

  • Type of work varies and depends on department but may include finance, tracking of projects, updating department documents, gathering data, data analysis, working on Health Connect related projects and problem solving.

  • All positions are administrative and some may be located at MOBs or medical centers.

  • Some travel may be required for some positions.

  • Locations include: Antelope Valley, Baldwin Park, Downey, Fontana, Kern County, Los Angeles, Orange County, Panorama City, Pasadena, Riverside, San Diego, South Bay, West Los Angeles, and Woodland Hills

Basic Qualifications:

Education

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System, or related.

  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, MS SQL a plus.

  • Experience with Excel and Word.

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Must work well in teams, possess great leadership skills, and learn quickly.
