Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist 2 for our Palmdale, CA location.
The success candidate will be part of the NGAS GSC Operations Performance team supporting a Program, the individual will be required to support a diverse array of tasks and projects.The individual must be innovative and have the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and requires very good interpersonal and organization skills. Must be able to work on and complete demanding assignments and deadlines.
·Prepare Metric packages for both Program and Global Supply Chain use.
·Develop/run automation processes to avoid manually pulling data.
·Research data discrepancies to understand process discrepancies.
·Harmonize reporting by understanding each functions use of the data.
·Write SQL code to create meaningful analysis & provide insight to those who use the data so cause and effect is understood.
·Must be able to support ad-hoc reports for deep dive analysis.
·Understand supply chain as a whole to provide strategic input and minimize schedule delays.
·Have knowledge of Supply Chain Management/Procurement concepts and the government procurement process is desired.

This position requires proficiency in all MS Office applications (especially MS Excel), Tableau, SQL and other database systems.
3 years of experience with Global Supply Chain
Proficient with Excel/reporting/metrics
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Degree discipline in Computer Science
