Kforce has a client in search of an Engagement Manager in Burbank, California (CA).Overview:The Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships between our business partners and the Consumer Information Management Platform (CIMP) and / or Enterprise Profiles and Preferences (EPP) teams. This necessitates gaining a broad understanding of the business processes of business partners and how they relate to other functional areas. While the CIMP and EPP positions have slightly different business objectives, the Engagement Manager will carry out essentially the same duties: analysis/evaluation of business and/or system processes and functional requirements and support clients during system development, testing and implementation. Activities are undertaken and executed in support of organizational goals and the Engagement Manager is accountable for providing solutions to meet internal and external customer expectations. Other responsibilities may include data gathering and analysis, best practices' research, process mapping, developing and recommending alternatives for improvement, developing performance metrics, obtaining leadership and stakeholder agreement, supporting improvement implementations, and monitoring post-implementation improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • MBA preferred; PMP certification required; minimum of 5 years of direct relevant finance and/or insurance industry experience

  • 10 years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of process and/or project management, consulting, or related business experience

  • Significant Business Development and Project Management experience required involving complex and diverse business organizations

  • Must have experience within the insurance sector; experience in the healthcare insurance industry is highly desirable

  • Track record of interacting and building relationship with CXO level client contacts

  • Global delivery model background experience desirable

  • A demonstrated excellence in analysis, documentation, and presentation tools

  • Strong skills in critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (e.g., partnering, conflict management, consulting, etc.)

  • Must be an independent self-starter and must exhibit efficiency, collaboration, and candor, openness, and results orientation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in a Business or Management discipline

  • Knowledge of process management/improvement, methodologies

  • Knowledge of systems development methodologies

  • Knowledge of insurance plan marketing technologies and management systems

  • Knowledge of industry specific go-to-market solutions a plus
