The Authorizations Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation at CARD. The Authorizations Assistant will report to the Authorizations Manager. This position is based at the CARD Corporate Office in Woodland Hills, CA; full time, Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, $12 per hour, and is non-exempt.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Implement and represent CARD policy enthusiastically
-Represent CARD professionally and ethically to internal and externals stakeholders
-Organize and maintain accurate client and funding files
-Distribute funding documents and correspondence to satellite offices
-Maintain management reports including contracts, billing, distribution and mailing logs
-Communicate funding updates to satellite offices and billing department
-Respond to emails and phone inquiries from employees and clients
-Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to, copying, faxing, mailing and filing
-Communicating with insurance companies for client approval verification
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
-High School diploma
-1+ years secretarial and/or administrative work experience
-Excellent inter-personal relationship skills
-Strong computer skills; MS: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Comfortable on the phones
-Ability to work well alone or as part of a team
-Maintain confidential records and files
