The Manufacturing Lead for the Night Shift should be able to help the team to setup and operate machines per company planning and/or customer blue prints. Must be able to ensure quality parts and in a most effecient manner. The Lead will work with manager, other supervisors, and production planners to coordinate employee schedules, machines, and materials to best fit the production needs of the facility.

The Lead must be able to perform all of the required functions with minimal supervision and little to no instructions. Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; determines sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup; uses a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds; measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining; fits and assembles precision parts into mechanical equipment and determines material, parts, and equipment required. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures and certify/test product. Typically requires completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.

High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience. Post high school coursework or professional certification preferred.Should have expereince in aerospace manaufacturing environment. Must have proven leadership skills including able to properly communicate with all level of employees. Must be fluent in English, the ability to speak Spanish is desired but not required. Must have basic computer skills in order access emails, view NC progreams, and download required programs.
