In this role as a Branch Manager II, your primary responsibilities will be to develop branch sales, maximize branch employee performance through appropriate human resource management, plan, direct and manage the marketing, business development and sales activities, act as security officer for the branch and oversee all bank operations including maintaining audit requirements and budgetary planning. You will manage the branch and lead your team by performing the following duties:

  • Develop a daily and weekly branch sales plan

  • Develop and implement teleservicing plans to include calling on maturing accounts, sales leads, referrals, new account follow up, and other prospecting opportunities for the designated market area

  • Track results and follow up as appropriate

  • Promote, explain and sell all retail banking products

  • Develop new business opportunities and conduct outside sales calls

  • Obtain license to sell alternative investment products

  • Authorize transactions in accordance with Bank policy (i.e. deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, wire transfers, etc.)

  • Address and resolve client concerns and inquiries

  • Ensure and held accountable for the audit integrity, risk management and security of the branch

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all retail products and provide staff training to include product knowledge, sales, referrals, client service, risk management and policy & procedures

We are seeking talented individuals with the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required; college degree preferred

  • A minimum of three years financial services/banking experience and/or training required

  • A minimum of one year previous management/supervisory experience required

  • Proficient experience in sales management, including planning goal setting, tracking, reporting and selling

  • Three plus years branch operations/risk management experience

  • Minimum of three plus years consumer and/or mortgage lending experience

  • Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret financial reports and correspondence

  • Ability to effectively present and/or respond to management, customers, and the business community

  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial products and services

  • L & D license and Series 6 license strongly preferred

  • Must be registered under the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) or become registered upon hire

  • Must be bilingual English / Mandarin
