Job Summary:

The Manager of Client Technology, VP manages a team of six Technology Project Leaders (TPLs) and Telecom Analysts to deliver technology for Corporate Real Estate projects at over 400 Branch and Corporate locations in the US and Canada. This individual is accountable for managing a portfolio of complex projects including moves, adds and changes to existing Branch and Corporate locations, the buildout and enhancement of Branch and Corporate locations and the facilitation of our technology EOS (end of support) technology refresh program within the Branch environment. Manages the team's efforts, many complex, to ensure timeliness of project deliverables of on-time and within budget. This role has ownership of the companies 3rdparty deployment partners including low voltage cabling, telephony, staging and installation of technology in our Branch environment. Is familiar and supports the PMI knowledge areas of project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resourcing, communications, risk and procurement management.

Major Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for the day to day management and supervision of staff who each owns a portfolio of technical deployment MAC’s across the Branch and Corporate environments.

  • Defines and discerns key aspects of a problem and develops an integrated solution within a broad technical and business context of significant impact

  • Ensures the establish performance metrics needs are being properly met by the staff. Monitors and analyzes performance metrics, sharing results with users

  • Organizes and coordinates the activities associated with installation, deployment and upgrade of software, hardware and network facilities

  • Establish goals and objectives that support and conform to guidelines setup by the division.

  • Duties include interviewing, hiring staff and the termination of staff; recommending salary changes, job promotions; setting work hours, conducting counseling /performance reviews, and planning of the staff ‘s work

  • Prepare and submit periodic reports to management concerning production and other cost figures. Evaluate current policies and procedures

  • Recommend changes to workflow, procedures or policy

  • Provide input in the annual budget

  • Responsible for being the recognized expert internally and externally within a discipline(s) and often provides strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services

Additional Information:__

  • 7 to 10 years of IT work experience including managing/supervising team(s) responsible for desktop support function.

  • Experience in managing support operation in a 24x7, multi-site environment.

  • Experience with budgeting, expense management and contract management.

  • Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
