Job Posting: Job Summary:

The position holder works closely with the Business Operations team members and other appropriate staff to specify, design, develop, test, and maintain databases for the department. In addition, the Sr. Analytics Database Specialist collaborates in a similar capacity with other analysts and SAS programmers in the Department. The position also acts as the department liaison with the network operating system and database administration teams in the EIS Division.

Qualification Requirements/Preferences:

Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Educational Requirements:

• B.S. or M.S. degree in computer programming or extensive course work in Oracle programming

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of relational database programming experience such as Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL, MS Access and SAS.

•Programming experience within acute care setting with knowledge of healthcare financial and clinical data

•Working experience in basic server administration functions within Windows, Linux or Unix environment and database administration tasks

•Knowledge in business intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Crystal, Toad, Brio, and Cognos preferred

•Strong problem-solving skills and persistence to solve difficult problems

•Must possess solid oral and written communication skills for working effectively on cross functional tea
