Wells Fargo Home Lending (WFHL) is the national leading originator and servicer of residential mortgages, funding and/or servicing one of every six mortgage loans in the United States. The Position

The Division Manager is responsible for all aspects of sales, quality, profitability, the customer experience and team member development in the defined territory. This leader owns the strategic direction and the execution of our major initiatives within that market.

  • Leads and directs the origination of high quality loans, retention of existing customers, market/program management and new business development. This leader has full P and L responsibility for the market.

  • Leads the organization in a manner which balances a focus on the customer with a risk lens.

  • Responsible for the growth of this market by increasing the size of our sales team and the productivity of our sales team.

  • Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.

The Team

The Retail Divisional Sales Manager reports to Liz Bryant, EVP and Retail National Sales Manager. Each Divisional Manager will lead a team of 9-12 direct reports. Total team size for direct and indirect reports is approximately 600 including sales (Home Mortgage Consultants), sales leadership and support positions.

  • Directing and managing the sales activities of the retail mortgage division

  • Develop and maintain a high degree of visibility for WFHM in the marketplace

  • Lead all budget activities for the division and effectively manage the divisional Profit and Loss Statement

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales experience, mortgage industry experience, or a combination of both

  • 5+ years of management experience

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
