CBRE is seeking to hire an analyst to provide support to CBRE Global Investors Americas Asset Management division.
The analyst will provide operational and analytical support for assets in the investment portfolio as directed. Responsibilities will involve utilizing Argus and Excel to maintain current financial models based on frequently changing asset specific data. Auditing and analysis of property financial information to insure data is accurate and complete.Active support of the Asset Management team. Ad hoc analysis with the potential for presentation of materials as necessary.
Maintain and update accurate financial models in Argus and Excel
Complete various financial analysis including discounted cash flow valuation, lease analysis, sensitivity analysis, and other ad hoc analysis
Audit financial information and narrative comments for critical expense categories
Research and analyze leases and verify information with property managers
Support Asset Management team functions; including, appraisals and dispositions
Assist with preparation/creation of reports, budgets, business plans and presentation materials
Various ad hoc duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience in financial modeling, preferably with a real estate focus.
High proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Argus and Yardi experience.
Knowledge of property accounting a plus.
Basic knowledge of lease documents, commission calculation and lease abstracts a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills.
