In this role, you will be a member our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team. The PM team's standard is to 'manage each project like we own it'. We are unique in that we provide in-house cost management and project scheduling along with program and project management, in a fully integrated package. Our Assistant Project Manager position will be specifically supporting healthcare related construction projects. This position will be based onsite at our client's location in the greater Los Angeles area and will provide you with the opportunity to consult to a marquee client, one of the largest healthcare providers in the country.
Provide technical and administrative support to project manager(s) and to the project team.
Input data into client templates and work with client's 3rd party estimating team.
Coordinate and support the processing and approval of construction change documentation including Change Directives, Change Order, Contractor’s Change Requests, and other documents, as required.
Attend project meetings onsite or the Regional office, as required.
Coordinate with the other Department staff, and QA/QC Inspection Team.
Aid with the collection, review, status, and organization of project documentation, data deliverables, and closeout documents.
Assists in review of submittal procedures, RFI’s and monthly invoices
Performs other duties as directed by Senior Managers
Bachelors degree in architecture, engineering or construction management. Will also consider non-technical bachelors degree with sufficient project management experience.
5-10 years of prior, relevant experience.
At least 2+ years experience specifically supporting healthcare/medical project types.
AIA, LEED, PMP, CCM or other related accreditations is a plus.
