Supply Chain Integration Lead

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure cross functional alignment within the organization

  • collect and disseminate the voice of the internal customer

  • Provide technical and functional support on behalf of the supply chain organization

  • recommend design for manufacturability opportunities (design trade)

  • provide quick feedback on make vs buy decisions

  • investigate and share cost trade information (utilizing should cost models)

  • understand lead-time impact and delivery pull in opportunities

  • Champion production level continuous improvement initiatives for cost, quality and delivery

  • Proactively work to highlight and resolve critical supply issues

  • Identify and close out gaps within commodity strategies

  • Summarize and report out on projects to the highest level of management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business

  • 3+ years of experience in technical procurement or supplier development

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in the aerospace or automotive industry

  • Strong communication skills

  • Thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment

  • Remarkable problem solving skills, with a bias for speed

  • Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately to meet customer and company needs

  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual that is able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment

  • Be able to prove a strong track record of leadership and team building skills

  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

  • Exceptional analytical skills

  • Ability to conduct all activities with the highest degree of integrity

Additional Requirements:

  • Travel to suppliers as needed
