Duties

Serves as a Management and Program Analyst for the Planning and Program Management Branch, AWP-210, Flight Standards Division. Responsible for analyzing, planning and accomplishing several administrative and management programs associated with Flight Standards. Duties will include but not be limited to, training course quota management. Coordinating of training swaps, reporting training to Headquarters, managing the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) Program and the Electronic Learning Management System (ELMS). In addition, incumbent will also manage and maintain the Regional Performance Management System and tracking, establish and maintain the upkeep of the Regional Administrative Officer's Guide, Front Line Manager Guide. Incumbent acts as an individual contributor and/or member or a team and may perform some leadership functions for small projects/programs or other work activities. Performs detailed analysis work in support of office goals, objectives and functions. Assists the office manager in monitoring available resources and ensuring the office functions effectively within them. Typical assignments may include: tracking and analyzing data to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; providing guidance to less-experienced professionals in day-to-day operations. Work is reviewed rarely, typically through status reports and at project completion, to ensure policy compliance and alignment with the requirements of projects and/or other work activities.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-H, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G/FG-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience may include but not limited to applying experience and advanced acknowledge in performing a wide variety of professional functions to include coordination, tracking information, policy and guidance dissemination, program management, team participation and other professional functions to support a branch.

To qualify for this position at the FV-I, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H/FG-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience may include but not limited to applying experience and comprehensive acknowledge in performing a wide variety of professional functions to include coordination, tracking information, policy and guidance dissemination, program management, problem solving, developing new approaches, interpreting policies, team participation and other professional functions to support a branch.
