Kelly Services is seeking an IT Support Specialist for one of our top clients in Hawthorne, CA.
Length: 3 Months (Contract W2)
Pay Rate: $18.00-23.00/hr. (W2- All Inclusive)
Interview Process: Phone interview, followed by an onsite interview.
The Company is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide support to our user community. To be successful, this person must be self-directed, motivated, organized, and results-driven. This person must have excellent listening skills, and is required to have excellent oral and written communication skills. As a motivated technologist, this person must understand current technologies, and must be continuously exploring and experimenting with new technologies
Document, deploy, and support a wide range of technologies used by the teams. Work closely with the IT Systems, Networking, Applications, and Information Security. Supporting Windows & iOS operating systems. Supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft SharePoint, and Lync/Office Communicator Assist with WebEx, Skype, and other video conferencing technologies. Demonstrated knowledge in both wired and wireless network technologies. Knowledge of emerging technologies (latest and greatest hardware/software). Ability to prioritize issues to make independent judgment calls to resolve urgent and critical matters. Can-do attitude, defaulting to “yes, we will figure out a way” Desire to not rest until problems are solved. Ability to proactively test for possible failure scenarios and consider edge cases. Excellent written, verbal and phone communication skills are a must.
2+ years of experience managing Windows systems. Work experience building, deploying, and supporting computer systems within a mid to large enterprise environment.
Willing to work extended hours or weekends as necessary. Able to lift 25lbs unassisted.
