Come join our growing team, the taste of something better awaits you! Nespresso USA is seeking a Coffee Trainer to lead our customers through their Nespresso journey at our new Glendale boutique!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Reference point for all training matters linked to coffee

  • Provide on-going training and coaching to staff on the Nespresso trilogy (coffee, machines, and service)

  • Delivery of diverse in-boutique training sessions focusing on Coffee Expertise (e.g., coffee tastings)

  • Execution of regular assessments in order to track the success of the delivered trainings

  • Engage with customers using storytelling to help them explore their Nespresso coffee journey

  • Help other team members to develop their storytelling skills and personal narratives

  • Introduce customers to our various Grand Crus through engaging them in the art of coffee tastings

  • Create selling ceremonies with each customer to discover and develop their coffee preferences

  • Assist guests to experiment with coffee creations that they can create in their home

  • Act as an enthusiastic brand ambassador to advise guests on Nespresso products and services

  • Deliver a 360 client experience, introducing multiple product categories and services in an effort to maximize the potential sale

  • Actively manage and update the customer database

  • Assist with cleaning and dishwashing as needed

  • Adhere to cash operating procedures

  • Adhere to shift/work scheduling and planning

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute with new ideas and suggestions to further improve the operations

  • Assist with Boutique projects as needed


Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 1+ years prior experience in retail, direct customer sales and service or hospitality preferred

  • Must complete the basic and advanced level of coffee training as outlined by Nespresso

  • Experience with successfully training, coaching, and/or influencing others is preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be comfortable with technology and troubleshooting technology

  • Must be able to be flexible and adapt to change

  • Able to manage individual productivity and take initiative
