NorthropGrumman Aerospace Systems is currently in search of a Process ImprovementAnalyst 4 to support F-35 Assembly within our El Segundo facilities.

Theselected candidate will be expected to define and discover waste within aprocess, and eliminate such waste through problem solving.

Thishigh-level analyst role’s basic duties include:

  • Defining,designing and implementing continuous improvement programs to ensure programsare integrated vertically and horizontally across the organization

  • Definingimprovement projects aligned with business strategies

  • Analyzingimprovement programs and potential results

  • Facilitatingand coaching improvement teams

  • Establishingand maintaining performance metrics to measure program success

  • Installingprocess excellence supports for program governance, project reviews,communications, training, certifications, and rewards

Thisrole incorporates elements of project management, quality, and manufacturing,and requires great interpersonal skills as the selected candidate will beinterfacing with a number of different organizations.The candidate best suited for the role willtypically have a strong industrial or engineering background, and must understandthe difference between a symptom and a problem.

Beinga Level 4 Analyst, the selected candidate must also have demonstratedleadership qualities in previous roles.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years’ experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment OR

  • AA Degree with 10 years’ experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment OR

  • High School Degree/GED and 12 years’ experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated ability with MS Office Suite

  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to work in teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification

  • Project Management Certification

  • Familiarity with Toyota Production System (TPS) manufacturing improvement process
