Job Title: Administrative Analyst
Schedule: Part-Time | Days
Location: Medical Center - Duarte, CA.
Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of professional and administrative duties and analysis functions in support of the day-to-day operations of a department/program/function. Resolves problems that have a significant impact on the overall goals of the department. Usually does not have direct supervisory responsibility.
A single teaching, research, clinical or administrative function of the organization or multiple function of the organization or multiple functions of limited scope. (Generally reports to Department Director.)
A large single teaching, research, clinical or administrative function of the organization or multiple function of the organization or multiple functions of broad scope. (Generally reports to Administrative Manager II or Administrative Director)
Follows established City of Hope and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines, including adherence to the workplace Code of Conduct and Compliance Plan. Practices a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.
Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree.Experience may substitute for degree.
Minimum Experience: 2-3 years related experience in business administration and administrative analysis (budgets, grant accounting, facility or personnel support).
Requirements: Practices a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.
Experience: Experience in academic or research environment preferred.
Frequently works at PC involving focused concentration
Mostly sedentary work
Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
Moderate to heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs.)
Reviews written materials requiring high degree of mental/visual concentration
Works at computer tasks involving hand/wrist coordination
